Naked Kitchen has officially launched its first physical restaurant location in the Phoenix Arts & Innovation District of North Springfield. The venture, founded by Brian Nelson, Alexandra Bowles Nelson, and Matt Johnson, focuses on a 'cooking with conscience' philosophy using nonprocessed, environmentally friendly ingredients.
The partners revitalized a nearly 100-year-old building to house the new space. Sustainability efforts include the restoration of a professional oven and the procurement of all tableware and kitchenware from secondhand sources.
