The Ismaili Center in Houston is a five-story, 14,000-square-meter civic and cultural facility featuring a prayer hall, theatre, library, and 11-acre garden. As the first Ismaili Center in the U.S. and one of only seven worldwide, the project blends modern sustainability with traditional design elements, including hand-carved stone panels from Portugal and a column-supported eivan architecture.
