Mach Industries Acquires Exquadrum to Scale Victorville Rocket Propulsion Facility

Mach Industries acquires Victorville-based rocket propulsion firm Exquadrum for $50 million to bolster its defense manufacturing capabilities.

By Colin Percy · May 25, 2026

Defense manufacturer Mach Industries has acquired Victorville-based Exquadrum in a $50 million cash-and-equity deal. The acquisition aims to integrate Exquadrum’s propulsion expertise into Mach’s existing lineup of unmanned defense systems, including the Pike drone and Glide attack glider, and supports the company's work on the military’s Golden Dome missile defense network. Exquadrum will operate under the name Mach Energetics.

Following the acquisition, Mach Industries continues to scale its operations within its 115,000-square-foot facility in Huntington Beach. The company, which relocated from Texas to Southern California two years ago, employs 350 people and received a significant tax abatement from the state of California earlier this year to support its ongoing expansion.
