Our Lady of Lourdes Women’s & Children’s Hospital has unveiled a newly renovated Mother-Baby unit in Lafayette, Louisiana. The project serves as a cornerstone of the health system's $100-million Advancing Acadiana strategic investment program.
The upgrades prioritize patient recovery and family bonding through the delivery of larger private rooms that offer 60% more space. Clinical enhancements include dedicated lactation support and updated security technology, alongside improved workspaces designed to drive efficiency for hospital staff. This renovation follows a recent expansion of the facility's neonatal intensive care unit and sets the stage for further enhancements to surgical and labor and delivery services.
