Local Entrepreneur Acquires 4995 S. Eastern Ave. Retail Building for Renovations

Local entrepreneur Merra Cordier acquired a two-tenant retail property at 4995 S. Eastern Ave. in Las Vegas for ongoing retail use.

Entrepreneur Merra Cordier, owner of The Purple Chandelier, has purchased a two-tenant retail property located at 4995 S. Eastern Ave. in Las Vegas. The asset, originally constructed in 1977 as an OfficeMax, is currently occupied by The Purple Chandelier and Bodega Furniture. The buyer acquired the property from an ownership group that included former Nevada Lt. Gov. Lorraine Hunt Bono.

The new ownership plans to undertake renovations and site improvements while maintaining existing retail operations. Candace Bare of Marcus & Millichap represented the buyer in the transaction.
