Lidl joins Arbor Square in Douglasville as the shopping center's newest retail anchor.
International grocery chain Lidl is expanding its Atlanta-area footprint with a new location at the Arbor Square shopping center in Douglasville. The supermarket will occupy the center's largest available space, serving as a primary anchor alongside existing national tenants such as HomeGoods and Burlington.
Owned by ALTO Real Estate Funds, Arbor Square continues to secure high-profile retail additions. Lidl, which entered the U.S. market in 2017, currently operates approximately 200 locations along the East Coast, including 17 existing stores in the Atlanta region.
Little Tart Bakeshop plans to open a new location in Candler Park this fall, featuring a secondary concept called Midi sandwich shop.
