The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has completed its new Humanitarian Center located at 1999 W. 1700 South in Salt Lake City. The facility serves as a dual-purpose hub, providing workforce training and employment support for the local community while functioning as a logistical center for global emergency aid distribution.
The center is set to be formally dedicated by the church’s Presiding Bishopric on May 27, 2026, followed by a public open house running from June 1 through July 23. This project continues a humanitarian mission originally established by the organization in 1991.
