Jack Carter Auto Group has officially broken ground on Carter Cadillac of Chicago, a new flagship dealership situated at 1400 W. North Avenue. The property, located at the intersection of W. North Avenue and N. Besly Court, was purchased from developer Sterling Bay for $15.5 million in December. Once completed in late 2027, the facility will serve as the brand's primary Midwest flagship and the only Cadillac dealership within Chicago city limits.
The project, designed by Linden Group Architects, includes a two-story showroom and an attached six-story parking structure with 490 parking spaces for inventory and customer use. General contractor Joseph Nicolas Construction is overseeing the build, with the project currently awaiting the issuance of a full building permit.
