The 557-unit Paseo apartment tower in downtown Austin has reached its maximum height following a topping-out ceremony.
The 48-story Paseo apartment tower has reached its topping-out milestone in the Rainey Street District of Austin. Developed by LV Collective and built by general contractor JE Dunn Construction, the project features 557 residential units, including 28 income-restricted apartments, with completion expected in late 2025. The tower incorporates two preserved early 1900s bungalows that will serve as ground-level restaurant and bar space, alongside a proposed subterranean music venue.
Designed by Pappageorge Haymes Partners, the development offers extensive amenities including a 48th-floor rooftop pool and sky lounge, as well as coworking spaces and fitness facilities. The project integrates into the neighborhood through a signature outdoor paseo space and ground-floor retail, which will include a dedicated elevator lobby providing public access to a 12th-floor pool deck and bar.
