HITT Contracting Developing 1M SF Rowan Data Center Campus in Temple

Rowan Digital has secured $3 billion in debt financing to move forward with its 300-megawatt data center campus in Temple, Texas. The project, currently under construction on a 707-acre site located northeast of the intersection of Bob White Road and Lorraine Avenue, represents the first of three planned campuses for the firm in the area. The initial phase includes a 1-million-square-foot facility designed to support 300 megawatts of power, with HITT Contracting serving as the general contractor.

The broader development initiative in Temple is expected to total a $2.1 billion investment across all three projects. Rowan Digital intends to utilize net-zero power solutions and closed-loop water systems for its operations, aiming for completion of the first campus by mid-to-late 2027.
