Haven Housing, the multifamily and affordable housing platform of BH Properties, has acquired Hays Park Apartments, a 309-unit garden-style community located at 828 Bebee Road in Kyle, Texas. Built between 2014 and 2016, the property spans 249,282 rentable square feet across approximately 14.9 acres. At the time of the acquisition, the community was approximately 90% occupied, featuring a mix of one- and two-bedroom units that average 807 square feet each.
The transaction marks another expansion for Haven Housing, following its November purchase of the 350-unit The Dalton Apartments north of Austin. The firm plans to pursue value-add initiatives at the Kyle property, including amenity upgrades and unit renovations. Walker & Dunlop represented Haven Housing in the deal, the financial terms of which were not disclosed.
