Graco breaks ground on a 96,000-square-foot headquarters in Dayton, Minnesota, as it prepares to vacate its long-time Minneapolis campus by mid-2027.
Graco has officially broken ground on its new 96,000-square-foot, three-story headquarters in the northwest suburb of Dayton. The project sits on a 40-acre campus that already features a manufacturing facility opened in 2022 and a distribution center operational since 2024. The company plans to transition its headquarters staff to the site by July 2027, with manufacturing operations moving by the end of this year.
The relocation marks the departure of a major industrial player from Minneapolis, freeing up a significant 40-acre riverfront property for potential redevelopment. While Cushman & Wakefield is currently marketing the Minneapolis site, no specific redevelopment plans have been finalized. The Dayton campus, meanwhile, provides Graco with additional land to accommodate future growth, with space for up to three additional facilities.
