By Colin Percy · May 25, 2026

Google has officially opened its Meadow Point campus located in the Alviso district of north San Jose. The tech giant's largest facility in the city spans just under 800,000 square feet, featuring a mix of six office buildings, laboratory space, and industrial areas. Teams focused on flagship products and core infrastructure are currently occupying the site, which emphasizes natural design elements including courtyards and landscaping that reflect the local geography.

While the primary phase of the campus is now complete, an additional structure is currently under development with an anticipated opening in 2027. Local leaders suggest the campus serves as a major driver for regional employment, with supporting housing initiatives expected to follow in the surrounding north San Jose area.
