The Rialto Center for the Arts in downtown Atlanta announces a $290,000 renovation project to update its lobby and facility infrastructure.
The Rialto Center for the Arts in downtown Atlanta is set to undergo a $150,000 lobby renovation featuring a neutral color palette and modernized design. An additional $140,000 will be dedicated to behind-the-scenes facility upgrades, including improvements to the theater's curtain systems and stage infrastructure.
Operated by Georgia State University, the historic arts hub is timing the upgrades to coincide with its 30th anniversary since the 1996 reopening and its 110-year history on the site. These physical improvements complement a broader strategic effort to increase community engagement through a new tiered membership model and an expanded 2026-2027 performance calendar.
