The historic Faust Hotel in downtown New Braunfels has reopened following a two-and-a-half-year renovation project featuring 45 updated guest rooms.
The Faust Hotel, located at 240 S. Seguin Ave. in downtown New Braunfels, officially reopened on May 19 following an extensive two-and-a-half-year renovation. The historic property now features 45 guest rooms equipped with modern amenities, including walk-in showers and 55-inch televisions. The room inventory includes six corner suites that can be configured into three-bedroom units, along with nine junior suites.
In addition to the room upgrades, the project introduced a new restaurant and bar called Wilhelm & Werner, an outdoor patio, an improved lobby bar, and a basement-level speakeasy. The renovation, characterized by owner Andy Duettra as a "labor of love," aims to preserve the historic legacy of the landmark hotel for the community.
