The city of Duquesne, Missouri, has marked the anniversary of the devastating tornado by dedicating a new 2-acre Memorial Park. The project, which officially opened to the public with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, includes a quarter-mile walking path, park benches, and playground equipment.
In addition to the walking infrastructure, the community space features a new splash pad, a shelter equipped with picnic tables, and a restroom facility.
