Burnham-Ward Properties to Acquire Tustin’s Enderle Center Amid Retail Site Redevelopment

Burnham-Ward Properties announces plans to acquire the Enderle Center retail plaza in Tustin as The Crab Cooker prepares to vacate for a return to Newport Beach.

By Colin Percy · May 25, 2026

Burnham-Ward Properties, based in Newport Beach, has announced plans to purchase the Enderle Center, a retail plaza located near the Costa Mesa (55) Freeway in Tustin. The move comes as the popular seafood restaurant The Crab Cooker prepares to close its Tustin location at the end of the month, with owner Jim Wasko citing plans to focus on the brand's 75th anniversary in Newport Beach. Future plans for the Enderle Center are expected to maintain a retail focus, with the Zov's location slated for a renovation as part of the broader site transition.
