By Colin Percy · May 28, 2026

Blue Origin has unveiled 'Project Horizon,' a $600 million expansion of its Rocket Park campus at the Cape Canaveral Spaceport. The project features the construction of an 830,000-square-foot facility dedicated to upper stage manufacturing, designed to increase the mass and volume of payloads launched from Florida. The expansion is expected to generate 500 new aerospace jobs, with average salaries projected to exceed $98,000 per year.

The development is being supported by the Spaceport Improvement Program (SIP), a collaboration between Space Florida and the Florida Department of Transportation. This investment builds upon Blue Origin’s historical presence in the region, where the company has invested over $2.3 billion across 11 sites in Brevard and Orange Counties since 2015.
