Big Grove Brewery opens a new 13,000-square-foot taproom in the redeveloped Macy’s building at The Shops of Prairie Village.
Big Grove Brewery has officially opened its new 13,000-square-foot taproom at 7060 Mission Road in Prairie Village, Kansas, marking the first tenant to debut in the redeveloped former Macy’s building. The expansion, which generated five figures in sales during its soft opening, serves as the brewery’s latest location following its origins in Solon, Iowa.
The project anchors a broader retail reboot at The Shops of Prairie Village, where other changes are underway. GolfTRK is preparing to open a flagship corporate headquarters at 7068 Mission Road this summer, while Hen House is scheduled to open a new store on the lower level of the former Macy’s building in September. Other site activity includes the relocation of Clairvaux to 3944 W. 69th Terrace and various tenant shifts as the center navigates ongoing construction and parking challenges.
