Bain Capital and 11North Partners have finalized a $300 million joint venture acquisition of five open-air shopping centers across four states. The portfolio comprises approximately 757,000 square feet of institutional-quality retail space anchored by necessity and lifestyle tenants.
The properties included in the transaction are Beacon in Carlsbad, California; Barcroft Plaza in Falls Church, Virginia; West Town Corners in Altamonte Springs, Florida; and University Commons in Sugar Land, Texas. Vista Private Equity Group was identified as the seller for the University Commons property, though further details regarding the individual asset pricing and other sellers were not disclosed.
