Akron Children’s has launched a new outpatient pharmacy located in Building A at its Beeghly campus, situated at 6505 Market St. in Boardman, Ohio. The facility marks the first pharmacy onsite, aimed at closing a critical gap in care for patients upon their discharge from the hospital. The pharmacy is accessible to the broader community as well as patients, according to Kyle Finnerty, director of pharmacy for Akron Children’s.
